How Does The Powder Coating Process Work With CoatKings?

 

Here are the steps we follow for a successful powder coating process:

1. Chemically strip the old coating off (powder, paint, plasti-dip e.t.c)

2. Outgas them for over an hour to bring deep impurities and contamination to the surface

3. Sandblast the wheels to remove impurities/contamination and to provide a good surface for powder

4. A basecoat is applied to the parts

5. Apply a clear coat (if necessary)

6. Apply a ceramic coat (if requested) 

7. You’re called for pick-up!
